Reviews
“Leonard Boga was the musician-performer who rendered a score of a demanding, complex sonic texture. With rigorous tact, he constructed everything in the most authentic style, tuned the tempos to the choreographic requirements and, most importantly, matched the orchestral colours with the suggestiveness of the movements, the attitudes on stage, configuring an exemplary symbiosis”.
Costin Popa, review of the premiere of Prokofiev’s ballet Cinderella
Romanian National Opera Iasi, April 2019
„The orchestra conducted by Leonard Boga showed a remarkable homogeneity, Prokofiev’s music being demanding for all instrumental parts. The performance succeeded in achieving that essential support for the audience to have the comfort of concentrating on the choreographic expression.”
